Urban Care is an Initiative by the Greek Evangelical Alliance in partnership with various ministries and NGOs including Send Relief.
Cities where most rivers of humanity pour into.
In some capitals, they represent half of the population if not more.
Athens is no different— more than 1/3 of the population of Greece is in the capital, in addition to the constant influx of refugees as it’s always been the Eastern gate to the Western world.

Urban setting presents many challenges: homelessness, loneliness, prostitution, trafficking, drug addiction, modern day labour slavery, in addition to foreign influx of all kinds from refugees to immigrants and unaccompanied minors who find a hiding place in the concrete jungle, survivability.
Urban Care is a gathering of those who want to sharpen their knowledge and skills in how to tackle those issues from a Christian perspective.
You will meet and be exposed to various ministries that engage most of these issues, their success and challenges.
This year the focus will be primarily on the forcibly-displaced people in an urban setting.
